Bonita AppleBoom

Bonita AppleBoom, aka Ashleigh Campbell, is a multi-genre DJ/producer from South Florida.

A lifelong musician, Bonita entered the electronic music scene in the mid-90s first in South Florida and then in Denver, CO, where she co-ran a record label, FXTC Records, with her then-boyfriend collaborating with influential DJs like Dj Hipp-e (Chicago) andJustin O’Brien (New Mexico).

As a vinyl trance DJ, Bonita’s talent and dedication allowed her to leave a lasting impact on the audience. After graduating high school, she returned to South Florida, securing a residency before stepping away from the music scene to focus on pursuing a college education and to raise a family.

In 2020, Bonita determined it was time to get back into the music world. Venturing into digital DJing and music production, she dove soul first back into her passion. Today, she exhibits her versatility as a DJ through captivating mixes online and at clubs, mesmerizing audiences from Detroit to Denver to South Florida. Her productions span a variety of genres, but she finds herself irresistibly drawn to melodic tracks, particularly within the realms of melodic house and techno, as well as breakbeats.

With her unique style and unwavering dedication to her craft, Bonita AppleBoom continues to make an indelible mark on the electronic music scene. Through her seamless mixing of breakbeats, techno, and house, she creates an enchanting auditory journey that bridges the gap between raw energy and melodic bliss.
